Mark has over 20 years’ experience working in Community Pharmacy, Pharma, Hospital Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Wholesale & FMCG sectors. He has gained extensive commercial experience and achieved significant successes in developing and implementing commercial strategies with suppliers and customers. Mark is professional graduate from UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in Pharmaceutical Business Management.
Prior to this role, Mark has worked in a number of senior management positions across Community Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Wholesale and Pharma companies. As the General Manager of Haven Pharmacy (Co-op Pharmacy Group), he focused on maximising commercial benefits for the group’s members and was instrumental in developing and launching the Haven Pharmacy brand. While working as a Business Development consultant with Abacus Medicine he devised and implemented commercial strategy for the Irish market resulting in significant growth in Hospital and Retail Pharmacy sectors. Mark has also worked in several commercial leadership roles for Axium Buying Group (Navi Group), Lundbeck, Uniphar and Britvic (ire).
Elaine joined Pharmed in 2008, and has held several strategic sales positions within the business. Originally joining as Area Sales Representative, Elaine progressed to National Sales Manager, a position she held for almost five years before becoming Commercial Director in 2020. In her current role, Elaine possesses full responsibility for all commercial functions of the Pharmed Business Unit including Sales and Marketing. Elaine works closely with all our brand partners to ensure that key joint business plans are implemented. Elaine applies herself with the highest levels of commitment and integrity through her natural ability and welcoming approach.
As Head of Marketing, Nuala-Anne is responsible for the strategic direction of the brands within the Pharmed portfolio. She is passionate about growing brands in line with the suppliers vision, constantly challenging her teams to find innovative ways to make Pharmed brands stand out in a busy marketplace.
